Description
Formed in 1971, Wexford Sub Aqua Club has been exploring the underwater world off the southeast coast for over forty years. Below the surface is a rich and varied landscape, teeming with abundant marine life. We are based at our clubhouse in Kilmore Quay, a fishing village surrounded by water which down through the years has earned itself the title of “graveyard of a thousand ships”, thus providing a choice of wreck diving in the area. There is plenty to suit all divers from the novice to the advanced diver. The Saltee Islands provide a magnificent backdrop to some of our dive sites with an array of seabirds such as gannets, puffins and even the odd razorbill who plunge underwater to say hello while we are diving.
